TED: Mitchell Joachim: Don't build your home, grow it!

Overall, I thought this was a good presentation. It talked about an interesting topic; growing your home. It seems like a story from a fairytale but according to the speaker, Mitchell Joachim, an architect, its possible. For a 3 minutes presentation, he was able to give the audience quite a lot of information. Also it was funny, apparently. There were parts where I was not able to understand the humor though.

He was a good presenter because he was talking to the audience instead of just saying the contents of his presentation. He seemed relaxed and comfortable on stage. The volume of his voice was easy to listen to. Also he put emphasis on important words by stressing and stretching them.

However, he did not pause much which made it difficult to follow sometimes. What also made it diffcult to follow was although he started quite slowly, he started to speak faster as the presentation went on. I thought he needed to speak slower especially when he was talking about architecture because that is a specific field not everyone has lots of knowledge on.
